A3DTD© is an iterative or circular stepped process we have developed over the course of the last twenty years. A process using progressive elaboration. It allows us to asses and develop winning solutions for our clients. Analyze: Analysis is one of the most important parts of this process. The discovery process allow us to ferret out problems and issues. Without proper and timely analysis, solutions can be created without addressing the actual root cause of a problem. Design: Once the analysis is complete a solution can be designed. A solution must be designed with the entire organization in mind. This design can include procedural or organizational changes as well as changes in hardware, software, communications or network systems. Decisions are made here whether to buy or build certain elements of the solution. Cost / Benefit Analysis is important tool used in this element. Develop: Solution development is the step in which all elements of the design are created and/or purchased. Training to minimize organizational impact is also part of the total solution and must be part of its development. Deploy: Deployment is the actual implementation of the developed solution into the organization environment. Test: This step includes quantifying and evaluating the effectiveness of the solution. it is here where we will isolate areas that may need additional enhancement. Depending on the results more analysis and changes may have to be made to tweak the solution to make it better. Document : Although documentation is required in every part of our process, it is noted here to show its special importance at the end of our process. Projects usually require the input of many individuals. Some are involved from beginning to end. Others may become involved or leave in midstream. The documentation becomes the proverbial "sheet music" so that all people involved are up to speed quickly and "playing the same song". It also gives the organization a trail of information to be used in the future for employee reference or new employee communication. This documentation also includes Training and training curriculum materials . |
